I even tried messing around with the 'control maps' on my PCR 800 by loading the Sonar map (control map 1) into current memory and saving it as the control map to load on start up of the PCR 800. I've downloaded and installed all of the Sonar 7 updates so now I'm at 7.0.2 and nothing has changed for me. And in the top left corner, the Presets drop down is blank with nothing listed in the drop down if you click on it. I can't even change the titles of the squares by clicking the blue-ish headers. Clicking on the green squares (they're all green at this point) does NOT allow any MIDI learning to take place. The same goes for S5 through S8, no assignments. In this editor, R5 through R8 don't have any assignments. My problems happen when I go to 'Tools -> Edirol PCR-300 1'. In the Controller Toolbar (at the top of the screen) it accurately displays 'Edirol PCR-300 1' Output Port = 1 Edirol PCR MIDI OUT (if this even matters) I've already done 'Options -> Controllers/Surfaces' I have my inputs/outputs properly set in 'Options -> MIDI' I've read many posts here concerning ACT and even specifically my midi keyboard (Edirol PCR 800), but I haven't found anyone with the situation I'm dealing with. I recently switched to Sonar 7 Studio and all the info I can get is definitely welcome! Now, this ACT business.
